Their hips, in particular, should sink into the mattress very nicely while the coils underneath support them. Heavyweight sleepers should also feel the same to some extent, but those who weigh around 300lbs or more may not find it suitable since they may sink in too much to the point where pressure is produced. Flat Stomach Sleeping
While the DreamCloud mattress may provide most back sleepers with exceptional contouring and spinal alignment, the same can apply to side sleepers, though there are a few notable exceptions. Our average-weighted volunteers had mixed reactions to the mattress. The bed was able to support their bodies and align them well, with our 155-lb volunteer. The top layers of the bed were a little too soft for their 225-pound counterpart, but he was still able to feel a good amount of support.

Side Sleeping
Among the three weight groups, those of average weight are more likely to gain an upper hand when it comes to side sleeping on the DreamCloud Hybrid. People who weigh 130-190 lbs may find the DreamCloud Hybrid contouring support to be sufficient. However, the pressure on the hips, shoulders, and hips won’t be as intense as they should. According to our 155-lb volunteer, the experience was worthwhile as they were able to rest well regardless if they switch to either side or stick to one. For those who weigh 190 lbs onwards, it’s a different story.
Both our heavyweight and 225-lb reps have expressed that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on sideways. Both experienced a lot of sinking in their hips, shoulders and hips. This can lead to pressure points that could cause minor concurrent pains. As heavier individuals may find the DreamCloud Hybrid to be soft under their weight, those who are lesser than 130 pounds may find it a little bit firmer sometimes to be able to sleep properly. The DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress comes packed neatly and compressed in a box. The size of the mattress will determine how heavy it is. The twin is the lightest and Cal King and King are the most heavy. We noticed that many of our team members found it too heavy to transport alone when we opened the Queen-sized version for our tests. So, we added an additional person to ease the burden.
Other than the mattress, the box also contains a booklet with instructions and a pocket knife. This is especially useful if you don’t already have one. After you have rolled it out of the box onto your bed frame, it will be fully compressed. You should wait between 24-48 hours.
